The headquarter of the World Health Organization in Geneva is has a need to expand and centralize their activities at the site of the existing HQ. Due to the lack of space at the limited site and the high level of security, calls for a compact solution with high demand for daylight and comfort.
The proposal suggests a courtyard structured base, with a lush landscape on the the roof, that replaces the lost landscape of the existing garden. The courtyards are curated by the local headquarters of WHO with plants and natural materials representing six continents.
The base contains the administration, with a high degree of flexibility. Three big volumes are added on top of the base. They contain special program easily identified from the existing building in order to ensure easy way-finding and navigation within the complexity of the entire structure.
