2023 JANUARY 31 | The International People’s College in Elsinore is nominated for the Educational Building of the Year Awards 2022 of ArchDaily. URBAN POWER designed the winning entry in 2018, implemented the detailed design and supervised the construction until the completion in 2022.

To efficiently take advantage of the small site area, innovative technological solutions were employed to provide the International People’s College with new, functional social spaces and learning facilities. The resulting plan incorporates the use of wood and multi-use spaces: The hall is seamlessly expandable through the opening of doors, making outside lessons achievable, while the custom, wooden furniture can be rolled aside to make space for performances or social gatherings.
