2022 SEPTEMBER 1 | URBAN POWER has completes the co-housing project Stavnsholthave. 25 families, singles and couples of all ages are ready to move in and adapt the common areas and common house for their community located near Lake Furesø north from Copenhagen. The initiative of the co-housing was taken by a group of inhabitants in 2017 and brought to life with strategic planning, design and construction documentation from URBAN POWER. No developers or additional financing was involved in the process, which made the co-housing significantly more affordable than comparable housing in the area. Wood from local Nordic forestry was used for both construction and cladding reducing the total carbon footprint.
