With the creation of well-lit, mixed-use buildings with housing, business and common facilities, an outdated office building and area is transformed into a downscaled and lively neighbourhood.

Community between the diverse users blossoms through the shared activities in the common rooms, courtyards and kitchen, while the rooftops allow for co-housing with green growth.

URBAN POWER are the architects behind the entire process, from the initial potential studies to the final scheme for the transformation.

The renovation of the existing industrial building into a double-usage place of both offices and homes, is both economically, socially and environmentally sane and creates an active, urban neighbourhood. The facade and windows will be upgraded to be better insulated and let in more light, while the new look and feel of the area will give it a distinct identity.

Adding the new housing of different typologies and the park alongside it, the project seeks to facilitate a pleasant coherence between buildings. All housing units will have a balcony with a view towards the central, green public spaces, where the communal kitchens and gardens are also located.
